We use age-old South African Biltong recipes, and the finest Sussex prime beef from local Aberdeen Angus "closed-herds", and the nationally renown "Rother Valley Organics" organic beef farm, the very highest quality beef available. Our flavours include Original biltong, Chilli biltong, Peri-Peri biltong and Garlic biltong.
Biltong was born out of necessity. Dutch settlers, 'Voortrekkers', found a way to store meat without it going off by hanging the meat to dry. It soon became hard on the outside while capturing rich flavour on the inside. Not only that, there are some amazing nutritional results too.
We sell huge amounts of our biltong to sports centers, athletes and gym goers, including some high profile body builders.
When ordering our Biltong, make sure you specify how you like it, wet, medium or dry, some fat or no fat. Most 'red-blooded' South Africans eat wet Biltong with some fat.
